Our Admissions Policy

Howard Gardner School for Discovery does not require prescreening or an entrance test for admission to our school. Prospective families are invited to visit and tour our facility.  Before admission, an interview is scheduled to explain the school's programs and expectations.

Each year an Open House is scheduled during which prospective students and parents are able to tour our facility, meet our staff and current HGSD families and students, interview for admissions and enroll for the upcoming school year. Since class sizes are limited to 20 ore fewer students, the school does maintain a waiting list once classes have been filled for the year.

Interviews and tours can be requested and scheduled at any time of the year. Parents are also invited to sit in on classes to observe our methods and classroom procedures. Once the interview and tour are completed, parents can complete and submit  an application packet. Parents are notified once admission has been granted. A small deposit is all that is required to secure a position in the class.
