Welcome to Health and Physical Education!
My name is Brian Kubilus and this is my first year working at Howard Gardner Multiple Intelligence Charter School. I graduated from Marywood University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education with a Minor in Coaching. Upon graduation I was hired by Kelly Educational Staffing where I have been a substitute teacher for the past 3 years. Throughout my time subbing, I have worked with all age groups ranging K-12 and have been placed in a variety of different classroom settings.
Every student in the school has gym or health at least once a week. Throughout the course of the year, I will be teaching your children on the importance of physical activity, fitness, health, and wellness. My goal is to produce lifelong learning and competency on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle throughout their entire life.
I am extremely excited to have this opportunity to work with the students, faculty and staff at HGMICS. This year will be very educational for not only the students, but for me as well. I’m looking forward to a fun and productive year with all of the students. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me at
