Get Involved in Our Parent Forum
Parents at Howard Gardner School for Discovery are an active, committed and integral part of our community. Unwavering dedication of the parents have saved the school from closing twice throughout its history. The parents governing body, The Parent Forum, assists HGSD in many areas from financial aid, to fund-raising, extracurricular activities and upkeep of the school. So vital are our parents that the Parent Forum President holds a seat on our Board of Directors. The Parent Forum typically meets monthly, however, parents are always welcome in our school.
Various committees headed up by and comprised of our parents work in tandem with the school's administrative and teaching staff to give the students at HGSD the best educational opportunities available and for ensuring the sustenance of the school's future. Our parents are as vital to our school as the students and staff.
