2023-2024 Graduating Senior Highlights April 9, 2024May 13, 2024 Melody Z. has attended HGS for 1 year. She will be attending Scranton High School in the fall. Melody feels that the teachers at HGS are very helpful, and they always make sure that every student has a chance to learn. Pramisha B. has attended HGS for 1 year. She will be attending Holy Cross High School in the fall. Pramisha feels that HGS provides a good education. She learned a lot in Math with Mr. Iannone and ELA with Mr. Filler. She is thankful for the new skills acquired during those classes. Andrea B. has attended HGS since preschool. She will attend West Scranton High School in the fall. Andrea says that Howard Gardner has taught her many valuable lessons and given her many great opportunities. She appreciated how the teachers were very understanding and liked the hands-on projects in Science class with Mrs. Hoskins. Griffin B. has attended HGS for 4 years. He plans to attend West Scranton High School in the fall. Griffin grew to like math class thanks to the help of Mr. Iannone. Piper B. has attended HGS since preschool at age 3. She will be attending Abington Heights High School this fall. Piper feels that her teachers have been outstanding. She has always felt they cared about her, so much so that she has achieved Distinguished Honors every trimester. Piper is proud to be graduating from the same school as her older brothers. Jack C. has attended HGS for 2 years. He will be attending Holy Cross High School in the fall. Jack appreciated HGS’s approach to education and discovered new ways to learn. He had a great experience participating in various sports such as basketball and cross country and gained great leadership skills that will carry on with him throughout the rest of his football, running, and basketball career. Madelyn C. has attended HGS since Kindergarten. She will be attending Holy Cross High School this fall. Madelyn would like everyone to know that the teachers are very welcoming and they have helped her expand her knowledge throughout the years. In particular, Madelyn feels that her senior teachers have prepared her for high school and life beyond that. Lydia D. has attended HGS for 4 years. In the fall, she will attend Scranton High School. Lydia would like people to know that the teachers here are nice, understanding, and welcoming. Natalie D. has been a student at HGS for 9 years, beginning in Kindergarten. She will be attending Scranton High School this fall. Natalie’s journey through school has been marked by her appreciation for teachers who go beyond the basics, like Mr. Iannone and Mr. Filler. Their commitment to challenging her and imparting valuable life lessons has left a lasting impact. Alongside her academic growth, participating in cheer and cross country has allowed her to explore her passion for sports. Sylvia F. has attended HGS for 6 years. She will attend Scranton High School this fall. Sylvia would like everyone to know that, through the good and bad times, you will always be able to find people here who care about your success. Sophia F. has attended HGS since Pre-K. She plans to attend Scranton Preparatory School in the fall. Sophia enjoyed all of the friends and memories she had made. Her favorite part of each day was playing soccer during recess. She is glad to have spent the last 10 years here. Aiden H. has attended HGS since Kindergarten. He will be attending Holy Cross High School in the fall. Aiden says, “In my educational experience at Howard Gardner, I have excelled. With a lot of growth in every subject and amazing help from teachers on anything I’ve struggled with, I’ve achieved distinguished honors throughout my years here. Also, from my education here, I’ve gotten scholarships for both Holy Cross High School and Scranton Preparatory School after doing well on the HSPT testing. Overall, I’m glad to have gotten to go to a school with such amazing teachers, staff, environment, and education.” Samantha H. has attended HGS for 5 years. She plans to attend Scranton Preparatory School in the fall. During her years at HGS, Samantha has had a lot of fun. She has made many friends, created bonds with her teachers, and created memories on the fun field trips. Samantha is thankful for each of the opportunities brought to her during her time at HGS. Annabella J. has attended HGS for 5 years. She will be attending Scranton High School this fall. She feels that both the teachers and the school have prepared her well for high school. Jean Carlo S. has attended HGS for 1 year. He will be attending Holy Cross High School this fall. Jean Carlo would like people to know that his education at HGS was great and improved his academic understanding in multiple ways. He enjoyed the fun activities such as basketball and cross country. Blaise K. has attended HGS since Pre-K. He plans to attend Scranton Preparatory School in the fall. Something Blaise would like people to know is that you meet very good friends at HGS. Throughout the years, he has been able to participate in many unique learning activities and had many great experiences like playing basketball. Abell K. has attended HGS for 4 years. He plans to attend Scranton Preparatory School in the fall. Abell appreciated the interesting topics that kept him engaged in the classroom. Brennan L. has attended HGS for 3 years. He will be attending Scranton Preparatory School this fall. Brennan enjoyed the many hands-on educational activities provided by his teachers. Madyson M. began her education at HGMICS in Pre-K. She will be attending either Holy Cross High School or Scranton Preparatory School this fall. Madyson would like people to know that the teachers really care and are here to help their students succeed. They also plan field trips, competitions, and activities that get everyone excited about learning. Yovana M. has attended HGS for 3 years. She will be attending Scranton Preparatory School this fall. Yovana says that HGMICS is an amazing school, and she has gained so much from it since she started 6th grade. She is grateful for all of her friends and the memories made during the fun field trips. Cailyn M. has attended HGS for 9 years. She will be attending West Scranton High School in the fall. During her journey at HGS, she made many friends along the way and is well-prepared for her future after HGS graduation. Cailyn feels that the teachers here care for their students and are always willing to help if problems arise. Kaydence M. has been a student at HGS since Pre-K. She plans to attend Abington Heights High School this fall. Kaydence would like everyone to know that the teachers are very helpful. Essence N. has attended HGS for 3 years. She will be attending Scranton Preparatory School this fall. Essence is thankful for the support she received from her teachers. They encouraged her to try her hardest and pushed her to the best of her ability. She feels that she’s received an amazing education and experience during her time at HGS. Norah P. has attended HGMICS since 4th grade. She will be attending Holy Cross High School this fall. Norah enjoyed meeting new people and especially liked her senior science class with Mrs. Hoskins. She also enjoyed music class with Mr. Kurilla. Maxwell P. has been a student at HGS since Pre-K. He will be attending Scranton High School in the fall. Throughout his time here, Maxwell enjoyed learning about multiple intelligences, algebra, writing skills, science, world history, the stock market, and more. Jaelynn R. has attended HGS for 4 years, beginning in 4th grade. She will attend Scranton High School this fall. The school’s field trips were a highlight of Jaelynn’s time here. Raeleigh R. has attended HGS for 10 years, beginning in Pre-K. They plan to attend Scranton High School in the fall. Raeleigh feels that their education at Howard Gardner was more advanced and student-centered compared to other schools. Vincent S. has been a student at HGS since Pre-K. He will be attending Holy Cross High School after graduation. Vincent enjoyed Mr. Kurilla’s music program, where he learned to play the trumpet, ukulele, and many other musical instruments. Charles S. has attended HGS since Pre-K. He will attend Scranton High School in the fall. Charles would like people to know that the education at HGMICS is more advanced than other schools. Emmanuella S. began her education at HGS in 6th grade. She will be attending Williamsport Area High School this fall. Emmanuella is thankful for the opportunity to join many after-school clubs and participate in band, where she learned to play the two instruments that she loves. She also learned how to present publicly due to participating in the PA Junior Academy of Science (PJAS). Heran T. has attended HGS for 5 years and will attend Scranton Preparatory School in the fall. Heran feels that he had a good education at HGS, and he especially enjoyed learning about multiple intelligences, which allowed him to grasp the educational concepts more clearly. Jazleymi V. has attended HGS for 5 years and will attend Scranton Preparatory School in the fall. Jazleymi would like people to know that the teachers are very supportive and helpful if you are struggling with something. The sports coaches always push you to do your best and help whenever you need it. Christian V. has attended HGS for 2 years. He will attend Scranton Preparatory School this fall. Chris liked all of his classes, enjoyed the many books read in ELA, and improved his essays and test scores throughout the year. James W. has attended HGS since 6th grade. In the fall, he will attend Holy Cross High School. Throughout his education here, James learned how to focus on his individual classes better and feels confident to enter high school. Mia Z. has attended HGS for 7 years. She will be attending Scranton High School following graduation. Mia would like people to know that the teachers at HGS are really great and do everything in their power to help you succeed. She also had a great time on the school field trips, specifically the Statue of Liberty trip.
