Intermediate students collaborated on Project Based Learning tasks, acting as environmental educators. They chose to create either a nature center sign or a matching game to teach about animal adaptations. Working independently alongside a partner with similar interests students researched, made their product and presented to their classmates. This project has them meet state standards in both Biology and ELA. and utilizes their naturalist, linguistic and visual intelligences.
