Hi All!
This week in STEAM Club students were given the challenge to create a “slingshot” using 9 wooden dowels, 3 rubber bands, masking tape, and a 2oz soufflé cup. Each group was given a foam cube as their projectile. They were expected to collaborate to come up with a plan of action and were not able to start working until their idea got approved by one of the “project managers” (A.K.A. me or Holly).
Some groups had to come up with a Plan B when they discovered their first plan wasn’t quite working. I was able to snag photos of the kids who finished earlier. Then it got down to our last 5 minutes and the final three groups finished. All groups met this week’s goal!
